Getting out of habit of blogging again. Think it's because I'm so tired and not feeling well. Still trying to get out and about though! Was at Christmas Fayre on Saturday which was very well attended. Nice to see Jan and family there. Managed church on Sunday and Margo came in afternoon with Ailie and Keir. Lovely to see them. Arthur came along later. We had a good blether. I'm going there for Christmas as Catherine's Mum and Dad are going to be there. They are both pretty frail.
Got phone call from Preston Lodge asking me to get numbers for the Senior Citizen's Christmas Party on 11th December. Pauline Christine, who organises it taught at Ross High beside me. It's always very good and we're given a lovely tea and a free raffle. It's all free! We're very lucky in the Pans!
History Society party on Tuesday night. Stephen gave me a lift round as roads pretty slippy. Nice relaxing evening, with everyone singing carols accompanied by young Gavin on the cornet. Delicious home made buffet made by Dorothy (Ian Telford's wife) and Annette Gilroy, then watched film of Scots comedian Chic Murray which was very funny, then Santa arrived and gave us all a present.
Yesterday at lunch in aid of Chas in Chalmers church Port Seton. Helen took Rita, Jean and I down. Lovely soup, mince pies and Christmas cake. Bought some delicious home baking and hand made pressies. Spoke to lots of people I hadn't seen for ages.
When we came home Helen said she was going to Marks at the Fort and asked if I wanted to come. Didn't really feel like it, but said I'd sit in the car. However, was all right when I got a trolley to lean on, so got one or two things. Helen went into Border books and got me 'Maw Broon's But and Ben Cookbook" for Dick. I'd already bought Bobby a book about Chic Murray as he's very good at impersonating him.
Doctor phoned today about blood test results.Sending me new prescription tomorrow so hopefully will feel better soon.
