Holidays

Tuesday,1st July

Lovely sunny day. Arthur and Catherine off on holiday to Cyprus. Bobby & Pauline go on Sunday to Turkey. I’ll miss them.

Margo came early with the bairns. They helped me to water front garden, but, like Robert Ailie started soaking Keir and I. Good laugh though. Went to swing park. I told them their mum used to play there too. As a matter of fact, so did I when I was wee - and John! Very different now of course. Had lunch in the Aroma cafe. First time I’ve been there. Very pleasant. Food was delicious Later we walked along the shore, then to joke shop. We wanted strawberry tarts from Ford’s but alas-sold out! Had to make do with something less fancy.

Really enjoyed my day, but feeling pretty sore again, with walking on uneven surfaces.Stuart came along to put out the re-cycling boxes. Made me a cup of tea.
